Description

I stood on top of a dog house looking almost straight down for this photo of Maisy, my dog. The late afternoon sun cast shadows of her and the silly garden things across the deck. The exposure was just perfect for the rich shadowy areas. The round metal food dish and the potted plant echo each other. And the best part is Maisy's almost eerie elongated shadow. The bars from the porch swing and cracks in the concrete deck slice and divide the image area with lines. I have rotated the image as well, which disorients the perspective even further. This is printed with orange and gray layers.
