Description

This was an older black and white negative from 2005 when I was in New York, however I never got around to printing it until two years later. I used several layers of colors in a free form printing style, brushing color off certian areas and leaving it in others. I aslo began to deliberatly introduce a grainy effect with the gum bichromate. This is one of my favorite prints to date, the color turned out beautifully. This image speaks with the glow of the city at night. The most impressive feature to me is the orange/red streak of the sky, slicing into the buildings, set against the repetitive pattern of the blue window ledges.
