This was printed from a real photograph. I say so only because some people have wondered if I digitally combined the moon into the image.

I came home late one night and spotted this scene as I approached the door. Quickly, I found my camera and took the shot. I used several exposures to capture the wide range of luminance in the scene.

For the print, I printed several layers of color and used a brush to remove pigment for different areas while it developed.
