Description

This is in the woods by Grapevine Lake. I shot this using a red filter and a polarizer to darken the blue sky. The sun was setting behind me illuminating only the top of the tree. This was actually 3 negatives stitched together to make a panorama. The exposures were long enough to catch some blur in the shrubs at the base of the tree as the wind rustled the leaves.

Near the center, among the branches, is the moon far in the distance. It is very small and difficult to see because this is a very wide angle image. This was printed first in cyanotype, then a layer of gray gum was printed over that. The layers are slightly misaligned.
