This image was based on an experience I had during the early days of October 2006. I was driving down Dove Road in grapevine Texas just as the moon was rising before me over he trees. It was the first cooler night after a hot summer. It was windy and leaves dashed across the road. The moon was glowing yellow behind low thin clouds. I was struck with a thrill of goose bumps as I realized autumn had arrived. I later photographed several images along dove road during the daylight hours and combined them into this vision of an October night.
